How can this possibly be a delicious and healthy party favorite? I promise you, it is! Feel free to put out mini brioche buns for those that don’t want the healthiest version. But, honestly, these are so good that it’s worth convincing people to try without. After all, you need to save room for the cocktails! Have fun with this…put out a bunch of different toppings and create a Make-Your-Own Slider Bar. Get creative!

- 2 lbs. grass fed ground beef
- 1 lb. grass fed ground lamb
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard powder
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Combine all ingredients and massage spices into meat.
- Create balls with the meat then compress with your thumb to make patty.
- Pinch out a little meat on each patty and place a pat of butter in it's place.
- Cover with the pinch of meat.
- Bake for 7 minutes for medium rare (or until desired temperature)
Topping ideas: pickles, avocado, Primal Kitchen chipotle mayo, sautéed shallots, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, bacon, kimchi, red onion, fried egg, fermented kraut or slaw...get creative!
